FERROUS METALS SEPARATION

A chain conveyor carries the material to the top of the plant. The material flow is forced through 2 opposed Deferrizing Magnetic Drums that separate effectively the ferrous materials.
This machine is equipped with special hoods that suck in light contaminants.

PRODUCT FRACTIONING

The deferrized material, composed by wood, plastic, cellophane, etc enters the first classification section. Here, 2 Screens, a hexagonal shape Primary Roller Screen, followed by a cylindrical shape Secondary Roller Screen allow for a homogeneous dimensional separation of the materials.

Four fractions are produced: fines, micro chips, macro chips which will be cleaned by the plant, and oversizes which will be disposed for further re-chipping.

This section is equipped with special hoods that suck the light contaminants.

CLEANING OF FINES BY GRAVIMETRIC SEPARATION

The fine fraction is fed by a series of screws to the Gravimetric Separator. In this machine the heavy pollutants (stones, glass, plastic, etc…) fall to the bottom while a flow of air carries light material to the following machine.

CLEANING OF MICRO & MACRO CHIPS BY VARIOUS SEPARATORS

Two Kinetic Separators separate heavy bodies (stones, glass, metals, wood agglomerates, plastic agglomerates, rubber, etc…) and light particles from the wood chips flow by means of injected air.

Then, clean micro & macro chips enter 2 Induction Separators which separate non-ferrous materials (aluminium, copper, brass, etc…) by means of eddy currents created by a pulsating magnetic field.

Uncertain material, composed of heavy pollutants and pieces of wood, coming from Gravimetric & Kinetic Separators is introduced in the Water Separator, which allows to further recover wood and eliminates heavy pollutants for good.

Plastic contaminants, such as fragments or plastic bags stripes will be eliminated by the Nylon Separator.

PNEUMATIC SCREEN

Clean fines obtained by the Gravimetric Separator will be processed by the Pneumatic Screen. This is a newly developed system that allows to separate the dust wood useful as fuel from the particles destined to production. The Pneumatic screen is characterized by an innovative concept of fluid dynamic cleaning. It eliminates the clogging of the net mesh and its mechanical wear, making constant the final product quality.

LPD CYCLONES

The plant is equipped with state of the art LPD (Low Pressure Drop) Cyclones which separate material at lower air speed compared to traditional cyclones. Such new design allows for a very important saving in Kw absorption, wear and footprint.
